This notice covers gingercalledit.com and its early-access list.
What we collect when you join
Your email address; the version of the consent wording you agreed to and the time you agreed; which page of this site you used; and your country, as reported by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address, and we set no cookies, analytics or tracking of our own.
Why, and on what basis
We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when early access opens. The basis is your consent, which you give by pressing the button on the form directly beneath the sentence that says so; the form does nothing else. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
Who handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, rate-limits the form and runs the Turnstile bot check, which processes your IP address and browser signals to tell people from automated submissions. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare also stores the list on our behalf, in its D1 database service.
- The provider that sends the early-access email.
Each acts only on our instructions. We do not sell, rent or share the list.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the details below; we will confirm your identity against the address on the list and respond within one month. You can also complain to your data-protection regulator; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
The list is not intended for children.
